I was going to write a nice, long post about the first week of cyber-schooling with Shaggy and Dr. D. It was going to be full of pride about their work ethic, about the joy at having my guys home during the day; and maybe even a little about the excitement at the challenge of seeing them take charge of their own schedules and educational progress.
But then I walked into the dining room this morning, and this is what I saw. I think this sums up our week so much better than anything else I could have said (NOT that I'll never say it in the coming weeks!) in our first post about home schooling the boys.
Take a peek between the two big boys' laptops . . . Enjoy!
Just to clarify, she set up
this little work station
all by herself.
Just like the boys :)

I'm laughing and crying at the same time.. too funny and too cute!
(Also love the fact that both boys have headphones on.. what's with that?)
They are both doing live lessons - Shaggy creating a slideshow "all about me" project to learn that function, and Dr. D in a intro to the class session for Algebra.
So cute!!!
How precious.
That smile says it all!!!
Love it!! :) I suppose it is a good day. :)
Ok. Last comment was me, not Scarlett. ;)
that's so funny! so eager to study :)
Awww shucks...that is seriously adorable!
That is adorable!!!! I'll be anxious to hear about the schooling for your boys. We're considering that next year for our youngest. She's in christian school right now but it only goes to 8th grade. This is one of the options we're considering for high school for her.
Awww....that is so sweet!!!!
Blessings,
Robin
Oh you have a budding geek!!
Reminds me of the older kids and LAN parties in the basement - teens - computers - cables - and 36 hours of non-stop head to head gaming!! (and yeah - I'm sure that they ARE doing lessons!!) But think of the fun 'after school'!!
hugs - aus and co.
She is so stinkin' adorable. And the boys look hard at work.
Your homeschooling your boys? I didn't know that. Sometimes I have three kids at the table all with headphones on. It does keep the house pretty quiet.
I can't wait to hear more.
