Very happy Gang, standing next tovery large bowl of glass fruit
(Note Baby Blue Eyes' & Li'l Empress' expressions!)
Very tired Li'l Empress,pulling at stroller straps mumbling,
"Buck, Buck, Buck!" (buckle) over and over
like a little old woman with her rosary beads.
Very frustrated Li'l Empress giving up(temporarily!) the struggle with the "buck."
See the resignation?!
We can laugh about this progression of events now,
but in the crowded pre-lunch hour of this
part of our day at the museum,
we. were. NOT. laughing.

Corning is about 30min from our cabin and we took the kids there ONCE. (there is a reason that ONCE is capitalized.) Phil and I thought is was very interesting. The kids had pretty much the same reaction as yours. Figured we didn't need to pay that much to torture our kids again.... The only thing they semi enjoyed was the glass blowing. Vonda
ReplyDeleteVonda, I'm so sorry to hear that your kids didn't enjoy it. Except for the art gallery portion, ours really had a fun time. We saw glass breaking, glass blowing, and flame shaping. And the food in the cafe (albeit pricey!) was yummy! These series of pics cracked me up cuz they "moments before" were all giggling about Li'l E's utter frustration at not being able to work the "buck!"
