Conversations in the Kitchen

Picture this scene: I am mixing a gooey dough, and dropping it by ice cream scoops onto a baking stone. Christmas music is blaring in the background.

Shaggy enters stage left, sniffing the air and groaning appreciatively. He snags a finger-full of raw dough and groans some more. He mumbles through a mouthful of the gooey-ness:

"Mmmmmm, these should be our new currency."

I laugh and slide the stone into the oven. The aroma coming forth is nothing short of heavenly. Seriously, Shaggy wants his mansion in glory to continuously smell just like this.

What was I making?

I laughed.
I would love to deal in cheddar biscuits. We have different levels of currency, tho. We have $20's, 10's, 5's. So we can have cheddar biscuits, chocolate and diet coke.

:-D

Why am I not following your blog??
I am aghast at this oversight!
Off to fix it NOW!!

Cheddar biscuits - hmmm...interesting scene attempting to put a few of those in your pocketbook...do you break them for change? Pay for your lunch and eat the change!

Hummm - lends new meaning to 2-bits - as in shave and a hair cut 2 bits (or should I say bites?). But raw.....Shaggy one tough guy!
